Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of the Klasio school management platform.
1. Acceptance of terms
By registering a school on Klasio ("the Platform") or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Platform.
You confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of the school you are registering and to enter into this agreement.
2. Accounts and access
The account created during registration is the school owner account and has full control of the school’s data and settings. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account and the accounts you create for staff, parents and students.
Applications are reviewed before a school goes live. We may decline or suspend an application at our discretion.
3. Fees, subscriptions and payments
Access to the Platform may require a subscription and optional paid add-ons. Online fee collection is processed by our payment partner (Paystack). Applicable platform commission and charges are disclosed before a transaction is completed.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the fees, invoices and financial records you configure and collect through the Platform.
4. Your data and privacy
You retain ownership of the data you upload (student records, results, financial records and related information). You grant us the limited right to process this data solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for obtaining any consents required to store and process the personal data of students, parents and staff, and for using the Platform in compliance with applicable Nigerian data-protection law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use it in a way that harms other users or the integrity of the service.
6. Service availability
We work to keep the Platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may occur.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful activity. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
